There were 23 Otters at the Dyce Mini Meet on 22nd January, and they came away with a haul of 18 medals between them. All swimmers got PBs and had a great time. In addition to all the individual medals, Cults were the 2nd overall team out of the 12 teams there; a fantastic result!

Special mention goes to Emily, who broke Beverly Robertson's 1994 100m Breaststroke record - Beverly went on to represent Scotland in the 1998 Commonwealth games, swimming in the 100m and 200m Breaststroke and IM relay.

Nineteen Otters from JC1 and JC2 went up to Forres and swam at the mini meet there. All of them swam really well and lots of personal best times were achieved, despite it being the first ever gala for some of them. The following swimmers won medals:
Ethan Lindsay: 2 golds (BRS + FLY), 2 silvers (FC + BC), best overall 9 year old boy
Ben Taylor: 1 gold (FLY), 1 silver (BRS)
Finn Davison: 1 silver (BRS)
Affric Cook: 2 bronzes (FLY + FC)

Jessica Barr: 1 bronze (BRS)

On Sunday 5th June, 35 Cults Otters and 40 Bucksburn swimmers met for the final match of the 2010/11 Beta League season.

There was some very exciting racing and some fabulous cheering and encouragement. A great team effort and wonderful team spirit.

Some of the individual rounds were quite close but in the end Cults Otters managed a convincing win.

Final result: 9 - 1

Well done and thanks to all swimmers, cheer leaders, officials, coaches and parent helpers.
